Fitness Class Descriptions

Thinking of joining me for class but not sure which class is right for you? Read below to see which one will work for you! 

Yoga On The Beach

Gentle Flow Yoga

Inspired by Curvy Yoga, this class helps beginner's or those looking for a slower yoga class learn to connect with yoga in a way that works for YOUR body. Find adaptations of poses, focus on slowing down racing thoughts through moments of meditation & pose work; and explore self-compassion. Open to all levels of fitness, ideal for beginners or those returning to fitness.
Held Thursday night and Sunday mornings at T&K Martial Arts in Lockport. 

Yogilates

In this class, we combine strength training, light/moderate cardio, and yoga poses on the mat. Combining Pilates and yoga poses, we build strength and flexibility in our muscles. No weights or machines needed! Think dance party on a yoga mat! Open to all, this class will be most comfortable to those with moderate level of fitness and flexibility-those who have attended at least 2 HIIT classes or doing at least one day a week of cardio. Held Sunday mornings at T&K Martial Arts in Lockport. 

Rhythm Flow

Turn up the energy and move your body in a whole new way with Yogilates—an exciting fusion of Pilates, Vinyasa Yoga, and dance that will leave you feeling strong, empowered, and completely alive.
This class with an music-fueled vibe blends the core-strengthening power of Pilates, the fluid movement of Vinyasa flow, and the empowering movement into one dynamic workout. Expect upbeat music, creative sequences, and a fun, supportive atmosphere where you can sweat, flow, and move freely.
You’ll build strength, increase flexibility, improve balance, and ignite your confidence—all while having an incredible time moving your body.
Come ready to flow, strengthen, and dance your way to a strong body and positive vibes. Whether you’re a yogi, a Pilates lover, or just looking for a fresh and uplifting workout, Yogilates will energize your body and elevate your spirit.

Vinyasa

Find your flow in our signature Vinyasa class, where breath and movement unite to create a seamless, mindful practice. This dynamic class weaves together fluid sequences that build strength, enhance flexibility, and cultivate inner peace – all at a comfortable room temperature that allows you to focus deeply on your practice.
Through creative and thoughtfully crafted sequences, you'll explore the fundamental principles of vinyasa yoga while discovering new ways to challenge and nurture your body and mind. Our experienced instructors guide you through graceful transitions between poses, helping you develop better body awareness, balance, and coordination.
Each class offers a full-body experience that might include standing poses, gentle twists, heart-opening backbends, and grounding forward folds. You'll build heat naturally through movement while maintaining the mental clarity to explore proper alignment and deeper expressions of each pose. 
Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, our instructors offer modifications and variations to help you find the perfect balance between effort and ease. The moderate pace and room-temperature setting create an ideal environment for focusing on breath awareness and precise alignment.
Come experience the transformative power of linking breath with movement in a supportive, non-heated environment. This class will leave you feeling energized, balanced, and centered.
