About Me.

Hello! My name is Brittany Manchester. I am a WNY native. I got into the field of therapy to give individuals a safe place to talk about difficult experiences, process their experiences and help them feel like they can finally make change in their life.
I have since become certified as a perinatal specialist for pregnant and postpartum mental health symptoms; become a trainer for new counselors and therapists looking to better understand eating disorders; and move into the private practice field so I can expand my support. I have continued to offer group therapy services, which is one of my favorite parts of my job.
My core values as a therapist are to hold hope, hold space, and make sure that every person knows that their time with me is just that, an hour to talk about whatever is helpful at their pace. Whether I work with someone for 2 sessions, 2 years or 20 years, I want each person to know what to expect for helpful counseling: I will always ask to offer feedback, helping you to feel comfortable to ask for what you need in care, feeling that you will never be judged in session and only offering feedback on what appears to be helpful vs unhelpful in your life.
I chose to add yoga instruction to my therapeutic offerings, so that I could help individuals connect with their body with mindfulness and have moments of peace.
