Finding Supports
Being a new parent is a whole new world! Finding the right supports for you and your family are key. We will talk about finding communication skills to connect with those around us and finding new supports. Find a free virtual support group through Postpartum Support International here.
Assessments and information
Assessing mental health symptoms is recommended at least once during pregnancy, and then every 3 months postpartum until 18 months postpartum. We will also go through risk factors that put someone at risk and symptoms to keep an eye on.
Holistic Care
We will frequently talk about the importance of finding small ways to focus on nutrition, body movement, quality sleep, and self-care.
